Produced in India using delicately hand spun wool, natural dyes and hand-knotted by highly skilled rug weavers.
The design featured in this rug is inspired by traditional Persian Farahan rugs. Farahans were originally weaved in the Arak region of western Iran. Designs often featured all-over floral motifs, though there were many also featuring medallions.
This brightly coloured piece features a large, blue medallion motif at the designs centre. the light blue colouring of the central and corner medallions is wonderfly contasted by the burnt orange background.
