Kerman rugs are weaved in the city of Kerman within the desert regions of south east Iran. pieces from the city and the surrounding region often produce rugs with floral patterns and medallions. pastel colours are popular within these pieces. Kerman also produces rugs that are much larger than average with smaller pieces produced in the region being more rare.
The rug is laden with large floral motifs that out stretch from the centre and the overall feel is very light and refreshing with the use of creams and soft blue.
