This Persian rug has a wool foundation and a wool pile. It has a standard 110 knots per square inch.
The Iman Lo is made within the province of Shiraz in a village of the same name. The people who live in the village are settled nomadic people related to the Qashqai. The designs of these rugs are often very similar to other tribal pieces but, the quality of the wool and dyes used is of much softer and finer quality. The inlaid garden design repeats itself but has contrast and character added by the excellent colour scheme. The geometric style further adds to the bold nature of the piece working well alongside a natural decor of wood and stone.
