Although weaved just a few years ago, this rug is perfect for anyone looking to add a touch of vintage charm to their rooms. The classical design, and rich autumn colours in this rug perfectly capture the aesthetic of the world’s most renowned antique Persian pieces.
Produced in India using delicately hand spun wool, natural dyes and hand-knotted by highly skilled rug weavers.
The inspiration of the design of this rug comes from Tabriz, a city in the north west of Iran. The city is famous for creating rugs of all different types of floral patterns that are often full of colour.
The bold floral pattern used in this rug is coloured using soft shades of blues, greens, reds and yellows. When set against the dark navy background the colour and pattern is lifted to show off the beauty of the all-over floral design. The warm terracotta border is beautifully detailed with additional floral motifs, and ornately frames the inner design.
