Ziegler Design

The Ziegler design was developed in the late nineteenth century by the eponymous Ziegler & Co, a German company that worked with Persian rug makers to create rugs for the European market. The design is also known by the name “Choobi”, which means “of wood” in Farsi and refers to the soft earth tones that characterise the rugs’ palette. Our range comes in many colours, making it suitable for all sorts of rooms. The versatile floral design is great for adding an extra level of charm to a cosy traditional setting, or for introducing some art-deco flair to a more modern theme.
