Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions of Trading ('Agreement') apply to all online sales of goods and services between The Rug Shop TW and the Customer ('you/your').

PLACING AN ORDER

By placing an order with us, you will be deemed to have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions. If you are unhappy with or unclear about any aspect of these terms, please contact us before placing an order—either by telephone at +44 (0)1892 614 444, by email at sales@therugshoptw.co.uk, or by post (to our store in Tunbridge Wells).
Prices and availability of goods are subject to change without notice.

RECEIPT OF ORDER CONFIRMATION

After placing an order, you will receive an order receipt confirmation email. Please keep it in a safe place, as we may ask you for information from it in any correspondence. If you do not receive this email, please contact sales@therugshoptw.co.uk. We will investigate and confirm that your order has been placed successfully.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

We take every care to ensure that the description and specification of our products are correct. However, specifications and descriptions of products on this website are not intended to be binding and are only designed to give a general description of the products. Furthermore, while the colour reproduction of the products is a close representation, we cannot accept any responsibility for any colour variation caused by the browser software or computer system used to view the products.

PRODUCT SIZE AND COLOUR

All of our products are handmade, and rugs can vary in size by up to 10cm in width or length from the size shown. By placing an order via this website, you confirm your understanding and acceptance.

STOCK AVAILABILITY

We endeavour to keep our online shop up-to-date with items currently in stock. However, an item will occasionally be out of stock; if this is the case, this will usually be highlighted in your shopping basket.

DELIVERY TIMES AND CHARGES

Deliveries to mainland UK addresses are free of charge, and we aim to dispatch within three working days (Monday to Friday).

RETURNS POLICY

We want you to be delighted with your purchase, so if you are not completely happy, you must notify us (by email) within 14 days. You must then arrange delivery of the item so that we receive it within 28 days (of you having received it) for a full refund of the purchase price or exchange - provided that the item is returned in its original condition.
To clarify:

To return an item, you must first notify us by email at sales@therugshoptw.co.uk within 14 days of receiving your item.
We must then receive your item within 28 days of the date you received it.
Pack the item securely and send it to us with the delivery note. It is advisable that you use a trackable delivery service and ensure the goods are purchased at the full purchase price. Please note that you will be responsible for the costs of returning the goods to us unless an error was made on our behalf or the goods arrived damaged. As soon as we receive the returned goods, we will refund the price paid for that item.

PRICES

All prices quoted on this website are accurate at the time of publication and are quoted in GBP (pounds sterling). If your order is for delivery within the European Union (EU), all prices charged include UK Value Added Tax (VAT) at the current rate. If your order is being despatched to a destination outside the European Union (EU), then no VAT will be charged. You will be responsible for paying any customs or import duties levied once the package reaches your destination country.
